SanityPress is Getting an Upgrade

We have exciting news: SanityPress is evolving. More like shifting gears.

The current repository will transition to archival status on May 31, 2026, making way for its actively maintained successor: SanityPress with TypeGen.

What's Changing

Starting May 31, 2026, this repository will be renamed to sanitypress-2023 and archived. It will remain accessible as a historical reference, but active development and support will shift entirely to the TypeGen version.

The new SanityPress with TypeGen brings full Sanity TypeGen support for type-safe content queries, along with continued improvements and long-term maintenance. If you are starting a new project or planning a migration, we strongly recommend building on the TypeGen version going forward.

What You Should Do

If you are currently running a project on this version of SanityPress, no immediate action is required; your site will continue to work. However, for new projects or significant updates, now is a great time to get familiar with the TypeGen version at typed.sanitypress.dev.
