When I first built SanityPress, the goal was simple: stop rebuilding the same foundation for every new client project. What started as a personal shortcut has grown into an actively maintained open-source template with 400+ GitHub stars and, as of today, **over 600 projects built by 120+ unique developers**.

600+ projects means SanityPress isn’t just being cloned and forgotten. Developers are actively using it to ship real websites for real clients. And because the template is intentionally unstyled, every one of those sites looks completely different.

## One Template. Infinite Looks.

That’s not a tagline; it’s just how SanityPress works. The starter gives you a composable module system, full TypeScript support via TypeGen, and zero opinions about how your site should look. Branding, color systems, typography—all of this is yours to define. Sprinkle in some CSS ([scoped CSS per module now supported!](https://sanitypress.dev/blog/scoped-css-per-module)) and the same template that powers a minimal portfolio can power a bold agency site or a content-heavy blog.

The result: a single starter template that scales across clients, projects, and aesthetics without ever feeling like a compromise.

## Introducing _Built with SanityPress_

To celebrate this milestone and to put that flexibility on display, we just launched a new page [_Built with SanityPress_](https://sanitypress.dev/built-with-sanitypress): a showcase of real sites built on the template, including themed examples that show just how far a little CSS can take you.

The page is live now, and it’s going to get better as the community grows. Which brings us to the part where you come in 🫵
